I’ve had a few people contact me asking for blank scrapbook pages for their baby boy or girl. I decided to make this 2-page Scrapbook Page layout. I’d like to sell this set of pages for $10 + shipping (if you are not local).
Here are photos of the pages & some detail shots.
Here are the details:
2 12″x12″ pages that are “ready to go” - just waiting for your pics.
Space to fill in details on baby read: “Name, Date, Time, Weight, Length, Parents”
All paper, glue & embellishments uses are Acid Free and were carefully put together by me!
If you are intrested in buying this layout, please contact me. OR if you would prefer one of these for a Baby Girl instead - I can do that too!
a few weeks ago, I met up with my friend at my LSS to do a night of scrapbooking. I’m glad I was able to meet up with her…I got a lot done!
Often times I neglect my own photos because I am so busy making other things. It was good to finally scrap some funny pictures that I had. This layout was super fun to make. Pete is of course going to kill me for uploading these on here for you all to see…but that’s OK
This was Halloween a few years back. We all dressed up as the cast from Scooby Doo. The 2 guys in the gang quickly snagged Shaggy & Fred. So the only thing left for Pete was…you got it, Scooby! I thought he made a cute one. I do have to say I was DYING laughing the entire night. Oh man.
One of these days I tell him he neesd to do one run down the mountain on his snowboard, in the Scobby outfit. That would be classic.
this is one of the many things that I did over Christmas/New Years…
I was cleaning up and found this one photo that we bought on our cruise in September. A lovely pic of me with absolutely zero makeup & snorkel gear on…oh HOW attractive!!
It’s actually a cute pic. Pete and I were in the Bahamas, just about to get our snorkel on, and they snapped this. I decided I better scrap it right away before it gets lost in the shuffle. Plus, with all this cold weather it was fun to think of something tropical… I sort of used up some supplies that I had lying around.
I’m not entirely sure where everything comes from - but I try to give it credit at the end of my video. Yep, that’s right - I filmed it for ya It’s sort of super-fast…I sped it up because heck, I was getting bored just editing it! I hope you enjoy!
**Note: it’s best in High Quality. I’m trying to embed in High Quality here on my blog by using a hack. Hopefully it works. If not, head on over to YouTube and watch it there. Thanks!!
so you know how I was all into my Flair yesterday? Well I thought, how cute is this screen capture? I should probably scrap that so in 10 years I can look back & laugh. And just like that, a digital scrapbook page was born
here is my Flair scrap page:

Facebook can be so addictive. I just love the “pieces of Flair” application. I choose the cute little buttons that make me laugh or ones that totally match my personality. They even have lots of craft and scrapbooking flair!
I used the Promise Collection from Shabby Princess Designs. This kit is SUPER cute and best of all…it was FREE. I’ve only dabbled here & there in Digital Scrapbooking. I am by no means good at it. HA. I used Adobe Photoshop, as I’ve worked with that software for a few years now, so I somewhat know my way around it. At any rate, I’m hoping to get more into digi-scrappin’ and maybe start to purchase some of the wonderful kits that are out there. If anyone has a favorite site to get these kits, please let me know!!
And here is another page that I did with the same kit:

This summer we finally started using our front porch. We found a patio set at Target and used it every week. Pete was the grill master and I setup everything else. I can still taste the steak tips and wine. MMM…it really makes me miss summertime.
I was on a roll with the whole digital scrapbooking thing so I decided to keep going and create page #2 for this layout. It’s lots of fun. (click on above photo for larger view)
Adobe Photoshop is so powerful, and I only know how to use like .01% of the features!! Layering is very powerful though. There are lots of neat things you can do.
I’m not quite sure what I will do with my digital layouts just yet. I might just keep a folder of them, and once I feel like I have enough, create a printed photo book with them. For now I’m going to keep perusing the web for free digital kits - until I know that I like it enough to start purchasing them. (like I need to BUY any more supplies that have to do with scrapbooking! ha!)
This weekend I hope to get to use my new Cricut Design Studio Software - I got it courtesy of some gift cards for my birthday. I can’t wait to play around with it! Hope everyone has a great weekend!
Digital Scrap Kit: “Harvest Spice” from the Shabby Princess - check her out! Lots of great layouts! best part is they are FREE!!
hey everyone - I know I’ve been pretty quiet lately, sorry about that! I hope to get into more of a routine and have more uploads for you soon. I am working on putting together another little video - that should be posted in a few days.
Today I thought I would share with you my first attempt at digital scrapbooking! Yep I took the plunge. For this layout I used Adobe Photoshop Software, and downloaded this wonderful free kit from Shabby Princess. The name of the kit is called “Harvest Spice”. (if you click the photo below it should show up nice & large for you to look at).
Leave me a comment and let me know what you think, and please do share any hints/tips/advice for Digital Scrapbooking! Any good sites that you have, I will post here for all to see. I’m hoping to get more into it, as I can basically do it from anywhere, as long as I have my laptop with me!
here is a quick little iMovie that I put together of me making a Scrapbook Page. The photo is from our honeymoon in Hawaii. It was a self-portrait (aka Pete holding the camera out) of us on a Black Sand Beach on the Big Island. OHH how I long to be back…can you tell I’m missing it?!?
Anyway, the quality isn’t that great - sorry. One of these days I will invest in an actual nice camcorder…right now I’m just using my digital camera.
I have another video coming soon. Just have to finish editing & what not. Enjoy
so the other day I posted a video on making a doggie photo holder (even though I don’t have a dog!). I DO however have a cat. His name is Max and he is very spoiled, curious and mischievous…all the things kitties are supposed to be!
When I was at the CKC Convention in May, I came across some cute board books from Boxer Scrapbook. There was a cute one in the shape of a kitty kat, along with matching paper, ribbon, etc. I picked it up and decided to make a scrapbook all about MAX. So here it is. To see more pics of this book, click HERE to visit my project gallery.
Also, please be sure to watch the doggie photo holder video if you haven’t already. I had lots of fun making it! Any tips or suggestions as to what you’d like to see next, let me know! thanks!

I don’t have a dog. BUT: there are lots of cute papers & embellishments out there for doggies. I was putting together a scrapbook for my kitty (which I will share with you later on this week!) - and I had lots of puppy paper left over. I decided to do something with it.
I also had to figure out what to do with the 100+ coasters we have leftover from our wedding last September. We ordered them for the bar area and apparently they didn’t use very many? So now I have 150 coasters that say “Eat, Drink & be Married - Kerry & Peter 09.22.07″. haha. The good thing is, there are plenty of crafty ways to use ‘em. These are some pictures of what I came up with, and I also created a little video of me putting it all together.
This isn’t really an official tutorial, as I didn’t do much explaining in the video (it’s pretty self explanatory) - but if you have questions on specifics let me know. I can’t do the whole “talk while I video myself” thing yet (i’m scared!) - so I just put it to some tunes. It was super easy to make and didn’t take too much time.
So this year was my first year ever attending the Creating Keepsakes Scrapbook Convention. It’s going on in Manchester, NH this weekend. I took today off and headed up there by myself, to do some shoppin’ and see what it was all about.
All I have to say is….HOLY DOLLAR SPOT!! I scored the following goodies (mostly Heidi Swapp & Bazzil Embellishments) FOR A DOLLAR EACH. I couldn’t carry all the stuff I wanted to buy. I ended up buying $42 at the dollar spot, and that’s only because I couldn’t fit anything else in my arms - it was definitely the deal of the day. (click the link above for their website)
There was lots of other great stuff at the show - page & scrapbook kits, and I even scored a few sets of Nestabilities. I couldn’t believe they had them there…they had an awesome selection. Nesties are so hard to find these days so I was psyched to find some! I also am proud to say that I resisted the urge to purchased a set of Copics…it was tough, but I did it
I am so happy that I’ve been getting more visitors to my blog lately. I hope you all like it. Stay tuned this coming week for hopefully some more tutorials & cards.
