Gift Idea: basket full o’ stuff…!
remember those Bridal Thank You notes I mentioned a few weeks back? Well, that bride is also having a Jack & Jill instead of a traditional Bridal Shower. They need to have a few gifts to auction off - so I was asked to put something together.
Here is what I’ve come up with so far - I might add a little more (if I can fit it!) - but I basically tried to create a “Stationery Basket” - with all coordinating colors. This is something you can give to most anyone - and can customize to any color scheme that you wish. It also adds a handmade touch! I might put a few more of these together to have as Thank You gifts for when an occasion arises & I need something.
Current contents of Gift Basket:
- Mini Clipboard
- Skinny Notepad w/ matching pen
- Post-it note holder
- Altered Binder Clip (to be used as a photo clip)
- 2 paperclip bookmarks
- Set of 3″x3″ Cards w/ envelopes
- Set of 4 Gift Tags
All cardstock (except for base of gift tags, which are Bazzil) is PaperTrey Ink. Most of the stamps are PTI too, as well as the ribbon - those flower stamps are from Stampin Up. I used Chestnut Roan chalk ink for the stamping. Love that color & how it looks on Kraft Cardstock. To fill in the basket, I just used some generic basket filler (I get mine at The Christmas Tree Shops for $1/bag!).
I’m hoping the Bride & Groom like this gift to use in their Jack & Jill!

What can I say? A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!
This is great! I love it!
That’s a great basket, I’d sure like to get that!!! Maybe I’ll have to get one done for ME!!
Just amazing and ever so beautiful! Now I need to know what a Jack & Jill is please? Over here in Europe we are not always up-to-date on all American traditions. Do tell
that’s a great idea for a gift basket and of course you did a mah-va-lus job with it
What a great idea! I have a blog award for you on my blog!
Oh! I forgot to include that part. Well, instead of a traditional bridal shower, you hold a big party for everyone to attend (men & women) - the goal is to raise money for the couple that is soon to be married. Different parts of the country do this more than others (they are popular here in the Northeast). I myself went the traditional route & had just a regular Bridal Shower. Hope that helps!!
Too cute ~ Love it!!!!! So do you auction the things & give the bride/groom the profit? That’s a cool idea, never heard of it.
LOVE IT!! This gives me a great of idea of what I want to make for my daughter’s teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week. Question, where did you purchase the mini clipboard? Thanks for the great ideas!!
I get those at AC Moore in the unfinished wood section…
