woah, I’ve been MIA.
June 4th, 2010
sorry guys. Things have just been somewhat hectic in life. We are doing lots of projects at home & truth is I just have not had much crafting mojo.
I made a card the other day though so I wanted to share. Nothing special, just playing with some October Afternoon designer paper. I used some plain chipboard letters from Heidi Swapp & covered them in orange paint using a Ranger Ink Dabber. (love the bright orange color). I wanted to give the letters more pop so I used some Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel on them. They almost turned out looking like Thickers, huh?
I added some buttons & a crocheted flower - all of which I had in my stash & I cannot tell you where on earth they are from!

I have been lacking crafty mojo too. It is always a relief to know I am not the only one lacking in it. Thanks for admitting it!
Love the card & the letters are super cute!!!
Glad you’re back! I recently found your blog and I’ve been going through withdrawals the last few days LOL. Thanks for sharing your awesome card. Gail
I like the way the embossing enamal makes the letters look. Do you know where I can get that???
Super cute!
Nice! Those letters totally look like Thickers…great job.
@Amanda
Hi Amanda - it’s called Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel. You can get it most anywhere, at a scrapbook store or craft store. I get mine at AC Moore or Michael’s.
I missed you, thought I had lost you, wanted to see your great photography. Can’t your blog include your photographs as well as your great creations?
hi Stephanie - stay tuned, I started a Photography Blog too
I LOVE this card!! Its so bright and cheerful!!
