Craft Fair Goodies & Video: Magic Reindeer Food

This year I decided to try something a little different for Reindeer Food, instead of just a regular ol' bag of food. I used some more of the Test Tubes that I got from this store online. (FYI: I bought these exact test tubes and the cork stoppers can be found HERE.) I also filmed a super quick video to show you all how I assembled these. Just a different way of doing them - makes them fun I think!

The poem was typed on my computer using Kirsten ITC font. It reads: MAGIC REINDEER FOOD Sprinkle on the lawn at night, the moon will make it sparkle bright!! As Santa's Reindeer fly and roam, this will guide them to your home.

The reindeer stamp is from the "Deer Friends" stamp set from Stampin Up. It's a retired set :( The ribbon I used is also from Stampin Up, as well as all the cardstock.

Here is the video. Hope you enjoy! Click HERE to watch on YouTube.

These are so cute. I can see little ones sprinkling these on their front lawns.

Love it! Do these test tubes fit m and m’s as well?

I have not tried M&M’s…but I think others have & they don’t quite fit. You might want to go up a size if they offer another size bigger.

This is the cutest idea I have ever seen for reindeer food! How much do you sell these for? I’m doing some holiday bazaars, and think I may switch from my old way of making this to your super cute way. :)
Thank you!!
Love all your wonderful ideas!

I will probably sell for $1 or $1.50 each

hi Kerry, thanks so much for sharing these instructions. can you please tell me which punches you used to make the little reindeer tags?
thanking you! Trish.

hi Trish – I used the Stampin Up Scallop punch. I nested circle punches inside, the 1 3/8″ and the 1 1/4″ punches.

These are adorable! Could you tell us what size the test tubes are? And they are plastic?, but very clear. I was looking on the listed web site but was unsure which ones you are using. Thank you!!
