12″x12″ Layout: A day at the zoo

in Scrapbooking

Yes...yes, I am just NOW scrapbooking photos from last April. Let's not draw attention to how behind I am in my scrapbooking...mmmkay? ;)

These pics were taken last year...the day before Brooke turned one. Her birthday was on a Monday, so we decided to make Sunday our special family day. It ended up being unusually warm, so we took her to the zoo for the very first time.

The gorillas were her favorite part...!

I've linked to most of the supplies below. I cut the elephants and title using this digital cut file from the Silhouette online store.

...she loved it!

I have been working on a lot of layouts lately, just need to get some time to photograph and share them. I've even been dabbling in a different style: Project Life. I'm *NOT* doing Project Life (that would be the biggest fail ever. I would never finish it, LOL), but I have been playing around with using the PL page protectors with smaller pockets to complete a few layouts. I think it's a great way to scrapbook, and it's motivated me to try some new things and get my mojo going again. It's always good to mix things up now & then! I will share soon.

Great layout and it’s my new favorite paper collection! I love how you fit so many pictures on your page.

Hi! Just wanted you to know that my daughter found your adorable owl pillow boxes on the net and we made some yesterday. They are a bit different than yours but we love them. Thanks for sharing your idea! :)
