Craft Fair Goodies: Pumpkin Poop

September 29, 2009

in Altered Stuff,Craft Fair

Here is this years version of Pumpkin Poop! I skipped stamps all together on this one & used die cuts from K & Company. Super easy!

These went together real fast. I will be selling these for $1 each at my Craft Fairs.

I used the Stampin Up! Top Note Die as the bag topper. The name of the font I used is called Kristen ITC. For some reason it's no longer showing up as a free font - but I know I got it for free at one point :(

OMG I’m totally making this too!!! that is so funny. Yours looks completly different from what mine will look like though. I’m not a fan of candy corn so I’m using reeses pieces. lol

How super cute and yummy!
Curious…..where do you get those clear bags?

I got them at AC Moore in the candy isle – they are candy treat bags – super cheap. I think it was under $1 for a bag of 100!!

These are darling and I’m trying so desperately to case, but I’m having a duh! moment. How in the world did you line up your printed verse’s paper in the Big Shot to get it lined up so perfectly? I’ve been working for hours on this and can’t get it right. I’m assuming you printed first, then Big Shotted??? I would love it if you wouldn’t mind sharing some help.

hi Pam – here is what I did:

Run one piece of cardstock through sizziz topnote die. Trim around the dotted border. This will become your template.
Print out the verses a bunch of times on white cardstock.
Use the template you created & trace the pattern around the verses (I did it on the back side so no pencils marks)
Cut around the pattern using scissors. It will then nest inside a regular top note die cutout perfectly!

I hope that helps :)

Thanks, Kerry for sharing your template idea. I should have been able to figure that out, but I was so focused on trying to BigShot it that I couldn’t think outside the “shot” so to speak! ;-) I’m headed back to make some now. Thanks again. I love your blog. It’s so full of creativity!
