Rudolph’s Spares

October 15, 2009

in Altered Stuff,Craft Fair

I was looking for another cute treat idea for Christmas this year. I found some ideas on SCS for these. They are really fun & I like that I got to use a different style packaging than the regular old goodie bags.

I bought these favor tins at AC Moore with a 40% off coupon. You can find them in the wedding section. They are sized just right for a good amount of these hot candies...AKA "Rudolph's Spares"...how cute!

Rudolph is stamped from a Stampin Up! set...and I used some Crystal Effects on his nose to give it some dimension. I used sticky strip along the outside of the tin to adhere the ribbon.

In Craft Fair news...they are predicting SNOW thisĀ  Saturday.

SNOW PEOPLE. Seriously? It's October.

Yes, I am a snowboarder...but I prefer my snow up in the mountains, not down here...and DEFINITELY not in October...when I have an OUTSIDE booth at a Craft Fair!! :( Please send warm thoughts my way...I could use 'em!

These tins are too cute! I love the rudolph’s spares tag. I’m going to have to look for these tins. They would make perfect office gifts.

Oh yeah, no snow here (Houston,TX). It got up in the 90′s yesterday. We have a cool front coming today and this weekend is suppose to have a high of 71! Sorry about the snow.

Those are so cute! I definitely have to get me some holiday tins now!

I really hope the weather improves for your holiday fair. I had that happen to me a few years ago, and it was not good. How about I send you some of my scorching 90F weather? You can have it! I’ll take some snowfall anyday :)

These are so cute! I will send you some of the 90 degree weather we are having in AZ right now! I hope it doesn’t snow or rain or any other kind of nasty weather for you!

Where did you get the “Rudolph’s Spares” stamp? It is SO cute!

Kerry October 16, 2009 at 2:31 pm

hehe, actually it’s not a stamp :)

I printed it on my computer…the font is called Kirsten ITC – then punched out with an oval punch ;)

These are so cute!! I’ve been looking for the red hot candies, but can’t find them! Would you mind sharing where you found yours? Thanks!

Just wondering what your going to charge for these? They are just so cute!

Kerry October 29, 2009 at 10:42 pm

I charge $1.50 for them – as the tins did cost me a bit more than just a normal baggie would.
