it’s that time of year…

Right now I’m working on stocking my Etsy Shop with plenty of Teacher Gifts – we are getting closer & closer to the end of the school year – time to grab a small gift or card to say THANKS to all the awesome Teachers out there. Here are some photos of recent projects I’ve been working on. You can find most all of these for sale in my shop. If you are local, I am willing to meet up with you so that you don’t have to worry about shipping costs – makes it easier for both of us! Contact me if you have any special requests or questions.

For most of these, I decided to try out using some digital stamps. I recently stumbled upon Scrappin Doodles digital stamps and found some really fun stamps to try out.

What I like about digital stamps: the cost is lower than a traditional stamp, shipping is free (just a download link) and you can customize them to any size you want. I grabbed some of these school themed stamps from Scrappin Doodles and I was able to use them to make some really fun Teacher themed gifts. (I found Scrappin Doodles simply by doing a Google search for digital stamps – if you guys have any other faves or recommendations, feel free to leave them here as a comment, I’d love to check them out – thanks!)

The first project I created was this mini gable box filled with a mini bottle of hand sanitizer (what Teacher doesn’t need that, right?) – and a mini post-it magnet holder. I was thinking that you could add more to this box if you’d like – a gift card, maybe some candy, etc.

You can customize to the name of your Teacher if you want, or you can simply say “Thank You Teacher” – I am offering both options.

I will mail these flat for easier/cheaper shipping – and you will just need to assemble the box and add the goodies.

Here is another version of the Crystal Light containers that I have done in the past. These are great to fill with candy, or can be used as a little pen/pencil holder on a Teacher’s desk:

Here is a set of 3″x3″ cards – perfect size for writing a small note of Thanks:

Some more Skinny Notepads…

and finally, a different spin on some post-it holders:

WHEW! That was a long post with a lot of pics. A cookie to you if you made it this far :)

more Valentine’s treats

Hi everyone – just sort of a miscellaneous post for you today with a few few projects that I have been meaning to share. I’m uploading all of these to my Etsy Shop so I wanted to blog about them here, too.

SIDENOTE: You might wonder why I am always mentioning items in my Etsy Shop. Sorry if it’s annoying – but its my way of keeping this blog going & paying for all that it entails! Yes, that includes the crafting supplies & fun toys like my new camera I just ordered (yay!). I am doing my best to pay for my hobby through making the items that I love. It makes it much easier and I feel less guilty when I want to buy a new toy. The good news is that you all benefit from this when I share with you some new pics, and also some new layouts using my new Epson printer that I just bought. (SUPER excited about that one. ) Anyway, NONE of that would even be possible without all of you awesome readers, so thanks for being patient & listening to me babble on and on….

ANYHOO – onto the stuff!

These are some more Tic Tac Holders. I had to some that were more boy-themed. Here is what I came up with. Love these stamps. I will be offering these for sale as a set of 4, you choose the designs you want.

Some more Ghirardelli holders using Whimsie Doodles stamps. I printed these on blue cardstock & used my Copics to color in a few details on the fish.

Lastly, some hot cocoa sliders using more of the stamps from Whimsie Doodles. I can’t get enough of these stamps – they are just too funny!

and I know I am a little biased because I love photography & all – but I think this one might be my fave. This is a great one to give to all the Photographer’s in your life…!

hope you guys are having a great week! I will be anxiously watching for the UPS man to deliver my new printer so that I can get started on some layouts. Hehe :)

Valentine Tic Tac Holders

Hi guys! Just a super quick post today to share some Tic Tac Holders with a Valentine’s theme. I used more of the Tiny Treats Valentine set from Papertrey Ink for these, and colored them in with my Copic Markers.

This “to & from” stamp is included as part of that set. I love how it fits perfectly on the inside. What a great treat to give out for Valentine’s Day!

I’ve listed this particular set in my Etsy Shop, but if you’re interested in a different stamped image, or a different quantity of these, feel free to contact me for a custom order. Thanks!

Valentine Pillow Box Treats

I’ve been working on a LOT of fun Valentine’s stuff. On my Facebook page, I asked what you guys were looking for me to offer in my Etsy Shop. A few of you mentioned that you needed fun Valentine’s themed items. Over the next few days, I will be adding a bunch of different stuff with a Valentine’s theme for sale. So be sure to check back!

These are a spinoff of some pillow boxes I did a few years back. Check out this post here for a video & full instructions on making these. I used clear acetate for the pillow boxes, and filled them each with a Ghirardelli chocolate. (YUM!)

These adorable stamps are from the Tiny Treats Valentine stamp set from PaperTrey Ink. I colored them in with my copic markers & then used a 1 3/4″ circle punch to cut them out. I nested them onto a 2″ punch. All designer paper is from Martha Stewart Crafts.

I am offering these in sets of 4 in my Etsy shop. Thanks for looking :)
