I'm still going strong on these Spring colors...I think it's due to all the lovely weather
RAIN we've been having lately. Argh! Out here in Eastern MA, we're pretty much floating away. It's been raining non-stop & there's been a ton of flooding everywhere. I'm looking forward to the end of the week when things are supposed to get nice again. Come on, SPRING!
Here's a happy & warm Birthday card. I saw those felt letters on clearance at AC Moore - they're from Making Memories & they are super yummy.
I stamped the sentiment with a PaperTrey Ink stamp set. The border was punched using this fabulous punch from EK Success. Designer paper is more of the Hippity Hoppity Collection from We R Memory Keepers. (great colors in that collection!) Ribbon is from PTI as well.
thanks for stopping by...!
Thanks to everyone for participating in my Blog giveaway. I think it's super fun to do & hope to do more very soon
You guys are such awesome readers...it's the least I can do!
OK, so here it is - the winner. I used Random.org to pick a random number. The winner was #34 - Deanna King. Congrats Deanna!! You will have an email very soon from me
Hello everyone - hope you all had a great Christmas!! Santa was VERY good to me. I got lots of really cool things including a Janome Sew Mini, lots of Hero Arts Cling & Rubber Mounted Stamps, a new Sizzix Die, some great paper from October Afternoon & lots of other fun stuff. I'm a happy gal!
I've been walled up in my craft room these past 2 days playing with all my new toys. I am LOVING the Janome Sew Mini! It's perfect for me as I uhhh had NO idea how to sew. In fact, I didn't even know remotely how to thread a machine, or make a bobbin. So when I saw these videos on StampTV
I knew the Sew Mini would be perfect for me! Stay tuned for lots of projects I am making that now include real stitching
Here are some Valentine's Cards that I made this week. Yep, already moving on to the next Holiday...!
I used some stitching on this next card, such fun & I think it adds so much to it! I was suprised at how easy sewing on cards is once you get the hang of it!
Here is a closeup view of the stitching on the card...
I'm currently editing a video for some fun Valentine Treats that I've made, so stay tuned for that!
Hey everyone - just wanted to share a few photos of the fair from this past weekend.
My setup was a little different this time (space was sort of cramped). So you will see that I had to set my tables up differently...but it worked out well as I was able to add an additional shelf on the side. I had LOTS of things, and the space was pretty much 100% covered with product when the show started. Around 11am things really picked up and it was packed!! I then had to re-stock and re-organize most of the rest of the time - but I wasn't complaining.
You will see my Mom in these pics - she is all bundled up. In case you weren't aware, I live in MA - about 20 miles outside Boston and Saturday was FRIGID. They had us in this big tent that was "heated" - but the wind was blowing so hard that it still made it pretty chilly in there. I think with the wind chill it was in the single digits!! We were prepared though. I had on my snowboarding layers and my hat. So I was all good.
If you want to see the rest of the photos of my setup from this fair, please CLICK HERE.
sorry guys, I've been sorta slackin' here! Things have been pretty busy lately. For those of you who don't know, I do work full time as an IT Manager just outside of Boston, and I'm also going to Graduate School part time to get my Masters. This semester is a bit hectic as I'm in 2 classes on Thursday evenings (you might see my Tweets on Thursday and they are most likely angry-toned, haha.)
Anyhoo - with all that said, I'm still allowing myself time to craft!
I am gearing up for another Craft Fair this weekend 11/8. This one is at an elementary school in my town. I will post all the info tomorrow on it.
For now, please enjoy this Christmas Card. I saw this idea in a magazine, for using the button as the letter "o". I thought it was super cute. The rest of the stuff is American Crafts...Thickers & Rub-On's. Cardstock is SU! and so is that Scallop Border Punch!
I have more cards to share with you this week so I will try and come back tomorrow for another posting!
