Craft Fair Goodies: Gross Halloween Test Tubes

yep, I said gross. Haha. I was going for silly & gross with these.

I’ve always seen people using test tubes as a creative way to package candy – and I love the look! Unfortunately I could NEVER find the test tubes anywhere. Thanks to one of my readers who emailed me an idea, as well as a link to this store where I bought these test tubes. Price was great & shipping was super fast! I highly recommend.(FYI – I also bought these cork stoppers to fit into the test tubes)

These are filled with Skittles. The Halloween fair I am doing is a Peanut Free event so I had to stick to candy that is known as Peanut Free. I separated the Skittles out and decided on names for each color. I grabbed some inspiration for these on various websites – so I cannot take full credit for all of them.

“Bat Boogers”

“Frankie’s Fungus”

“Pumpkin Poop”

“Ghost Droppings”

“Vampire Blood”

And here are ALL the test tubes I was able to create out of one large bag of Skittles. Not bad!

All stamps are from the “Batty for You” stamp set from Stampin Up – one of my all time faves.

I printed the names on my computer using the font “Kirsten ITC” and then used the Stampin Up Word Window punch to punch them out. I used some brads to adhere them to the scallop. I am very happy with how they turned out!

  1. These are great…. wondering what we could do with the Christmas Holiday… do you have something up your sleeve ??? Sure hope SO!!

  2. These are wonderfully spooktacular!! Is it hard to get into craft fairs. I am a SU Demostrator and recently moved to an area where I know very few people and know very little about the surrounding farm communities. Do you have any suggestions how to get involved in the local communities. I miss teaching classes and thought this would satisfy my need. Thanks for your help and suggestions.
