new post-it note holders

I’m a big fan of making post-it note holders. They are cute, useful – and they actually sell REALLY well at all my craft fairs. They just make nice little gifts for anyone – Teachers, Friends, Co-workers…etc.

I saw this video on Dawn’s Blog and loved how she made use of theseĀ  Acryllic Frames! So off to the Christmas Tree Shop I went – and stocked up on some of the 4″x6″ sized ones. They were only 89 cents a piece. Score!

Here are a few that I whipped up. They didn’t take long at all and I think they came out super cute. The good thing about these sized ones is that I had enough room for some ribbon at the top.

  4. These are so cute! I’m wondering how much you sold them for.

  5. I made these last year and sold out of them they are so fun and easy.I sold mine for $3.How much did you sell yours for. Also what did you use to laminate sheets or machine? NICE JOB!!

    • I sold my post-it note Acrylic holders for $4 each. I have a hot laminating machine that I used for all laminating. I highly recommend getting one – they are great!

  6. These are great! This may be a silly question, but what did you laminate?

  7. I made some of these recently. (http://coleybelle.blogspot.com/2009/08/creating-post-it-note-holder.html) They do sell well at craft fairs. Yours are super cute!

  8. Thanks for the cute idea. I featured your cute post-it note holders on my blog today (oneofakindgiftideas.blogspot.com). Love your ideas.

  9. How do you keep the post it pads from falling off? When I start tearing a post it off, they all come off and leave simply the backing (which is what I taped). What can I do to make the post it notes stay on?

    • hmmm well, I guess it’s just like you would a normal post-it…they are meant to tear off, so when I tear the one I want, I usually hold down the rest of the pad. If they come off, you just stick back on w/ some adhesive…
