Video Tutorial: Washi Sheets

Today I am sharing a fun new product with you (well, it’s new to me…not sure how long it’s been out!). These Washi Sheets from We R Memory Keepers:

If you’re familiar with washi tape, these are basically the same thing, just in 12″x12″ sheet format. You can cover a much larger surface area with these – and I’ve already found some great uses!

Here’s an example of something GREAT to use these for. I always find covering a glass surface with paper to be challenging. I can never get my paper to adhere just right to the glass (no matter how strong the adhesive, it ALWAYS seems to pull off eventually). So I tried these Washi sheets – and they work PERFECTLY up against these glass jars! Woohoo!

I decorated the outside with several layers of Washi Sheet, and then filled the inside with yummy candy (of course). To complete the look, I added some ribbon and embellishments. These jars are recycled coffee drinks that I’ve washed and put aside for crafty ideas like this. I love when I can recycle something instead of throwing it away!

In my video below, I will show you step-by-step how to make these. Check out my article over on A Cherry on Top for a full list of supplies. If you would like to purchase some of your own Washi Sheets, check out Thanks!
